BB:

Self-taught barber with 24 years of cutting hair. Clipper cutting styling designs are my specialty and great relationships. I really enjoy entertaining my customers and making it an amazing atmosphere for my barbers that work for me along with the customers that walk in the door. Everybody feels comfortable in my shop. We want no one to feel out of place.

CM:

What made you want to become a barber?

BB:

In ancient times barbers were the most regarded, protected people. Also, my services bring happiness to every customer which provides a positive workspace.

CM:

What is a moment in your career that you are most proud of?

BB:

Cutting Connor McGregor’s hair and winning the CW network show Cedric's Barber Battle. Being on the TV show Cedric’s Barber Battleand winning the belt that is now on display at My Barber Shop is my proudest moment.

CM: What was the biggest challenge in becoming a barber? How did you overcome it?
BB:

Cutting so many hours a day and standing on my feet. 10-hour days, 5 days a week can be a challenge. The only way to overcome it is having down time and going to the gym.

CM: What's the best barber tip you’ve ever discovered?
BB:

Plan a haircut out in your head before you get started to avoid getting lost and losing precious time. Keep it simple. Don’t let somebody else’s directions change your blueprint.

What song is essential for your shop's playlist?

BB:

American pie, Don McLean

CM: Favorite thing to do after a long day at the shop?

I like to sit and enjoy silence for at least an hour.

CM: Best barber meme?
BB: You will go out all night and cheat on your girl like it’s nothing, then feel guilty when you cheat on your barber
CM: If you could work on any celebrity/ athlete, who would it be?
BB:

Conor McGregor was my dream client to cut,and I fulfilled that wish... don’t ever limit yourself!!!

CM: What's the most essential item in your grooming kit (other than Clubman products, of course)?
BB: I have my own Matte Clay that I love and bring everywhere. Also, I never leave home without dry shampoo.
CM: When/how did you discover Clubman?
BB:

Clubman has been in my family for over 3 generations! Maybe more. I come from a long lineage of playas! My grandfather and father always stocked Clubman in the bathroom cabinet.

CM:

What are your top three Clubman products?

BB:

Vanilla After Shave, Original Clubman Aftershave, and Clubman Gel. When I think of a renaissance gentleman, I smell Clubman.
