Tell us about yourself: (education/training, years of experience, specialty, etc.)
MN:
I attended John Wesley International Barber school in Long Beach, CA and have been cutting hair since I was 14 years of age. Professionally, it has been 20 years. I specialize in fades and overall men's hairstyles.
CM:
What made you want to become a barber?
MN:
What made me become a barber is making others feel good about themselves. In return it brings me joy to know I made someone's day.
CM:
What is a moment in your career that you are most proud of?
MN:
Most memorable moment in my career is cutting up the best futballer, Lionel Messi. In 2016 during Copa Centenario I began his new look. The beard. Also, I will never forget how proudly he kept saying "Phenomenal " what an experience!
CM:
What was the biggest challenge in becoming a barber? How did you overcome it?
MN:
Biggest challenge was overcoming criticism. Also, perfecting my craft the 1st year.
CM:
What's the best barber tip you’ve ever discovered?
MN:
Always stay fit to stay strong!
CM:
Any advice for aspiring barbers?
MN:
Always love what you do and follow your heart. Loyalty!

Favorite men's grooming trend right now?
MN:
Peso Pluma cut. Jajaja not my favorite & the Edgar cut. Smh.

What song is essential for your shop's playlist?
MN:
So many! In general all music is dope. Love Mariachi.

Favorite thing to do after a long day at the shop?
MN:
Take a shower and enjoy my family.

If you could work on any celebrity/ athlete, who would it be?
MN:
Ronaldo El Phenomenal from Brazil

When/how did you discover Clubman?
MN:
Since I was in barber college. Awesome products.
CM:
What are your top three Clubman products?
MN:
Aftershave, Finest Powder, and No Bumps Gel.

Anything else you would like people to know about you? (I.E. What would someone never guess about you? etc.)
MN:
I don't think no one would guess I've been shot and kidnapped twice. Just life. Thank my God I'm here for his mercy. I'm truly a miracle. God is dope.
